How to get involved

To complete the projects we need volunteers! If you would like to volunteer with us in the future we’d really love to hear from you.  New people bring new ideas! If you are a little apprehensive (as we all were!) here’s some comments from past volunteers when they were asked what they gained from the experience…

“I met some new people and got the chance to work and socialise with people, the atmosphere was great.” Graeme

“A lot more than I gave! A healthy reminder about what really matters in life which puts all my problems in perspective. First hand experience that even though what we did might be a drop in the ocean-it really did make a difference to people there who really appreciated all our time and effort. A desire to it all again- and even more- next time!” Kath

“A massive insight in to the lives and daily living of these people, things I thought I knew about didn’t until I actual was there seeing it for myself!” Sadie

Chloe was a Junior Leader Cadet last year and was fortunate enough to get a scholarship from JTYAF to go to Kenya. After returning home she wrote an article for a magazine about her experience in Kenya…
